Huawei E3531 Unlock Guide Srilanka ~ Gadget LK

Huawei E3531 is the modem (dongle) provided in Sri Lanka which is very old model. Here we will guide you to unlock the modem in order to use it with other network provided sim cards. We are using DC unlock as its the simplest method of unlocking Huawei modems.

Launch DC-Unlocker client

Open Server tab, enter your username and password that you received after credits purchase. Click "Check login". (you can buy credits here www.dc-unlocker.com/buy). If DC-Unlocker/Vygis/Rocker/Infinity dongle is connected, only click " Check login "

Detect device by selecting Huawei modems from manufacturers drop down menu list, then click magnifying glass button. If device does not have visible COM ports in device manager then DC-unlocker will enable them automatically during detection.

Wait till program detects it,

Open Unlocking tab, click “Do job” button

Wait for device to be unlocked.

After you see that modem was successfully unlocked, restart it by disconnecting and connecting back. Now you can use it with any SIM card.
